The Rise became Film of the Year

Maharashtra, Mumbai: Bollywood actors have been honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2022. South Indian superstar Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise has been voted the film of the year. Whereas Ranveer Singh has been given the Best Actor Award for the film 83. Actress Kriti Sanon was adjudged the best actress for Mimi.
Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s Shershaah won the Best Film Award at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022.

Actor Ranveer Singh was adjudged as the Best Actor. He received this award for his recent film 83. Vicky Kaushal’s film Sardar Udham Singh won the critics award for best film. Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra won the Best Critics Actor Award for Shershaah. Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty received the Best Newcomer Award.

He received this award for the recent Tadap. Kandy received the Best Web Series award. Superstar Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa the Rise, which made a splash across the world, was honored with the Film of the Year Award. Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who has won many awards so far, was honored at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award 2022 for Best Actor in a Web Series.

Raveena Tandon received the Best Actress Web Series award for Aranyak web series. Vishal Mishra received the Best Singer (Male) award. Apart from this, Female Viewer Award Radhika Madan, Male Viewer Award Abhimanyu Dasani, Best Villain Award Ayush Sharma (Final) Best Supporting Actress Lara, Dutt Best Supporting Actor Satish Kaushik, Female Playback Singer Kanika Kapoor, Best TV Actor Shaheer Sheikh, Best TV Serial Anupama Best TV Actor Shraddha Arya, Best Entertaining Actor Dheeraj Chopra, Best Entertaining Actress Rupali Ganguly. It is worth noting that the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, which is given after the father of the Indian film industry, has nothing to do with this award.

The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is an annual award given by the Government of India, while the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards (DPIFF) are given by an organization. It has been only 6 years since this award started.
