New Delhi: Dr. Dibyajyoti Saikia, an internationally renowned human rights and social activist from Assam, He was honoured with two national awards on Wednesday. He was recognized for his outstanding service to the nation, society, peace, and humanity for over two decades.
Yesterday evening, the Indian Newspaper Association presented Dr.Dibyajyoti Saikia with the 8 th Global Strategy and Leadership Award in the category of Best Humanitarian and Peace Activist at the Constitution Club of India in Delhi.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Yuva Kalyan Sanstha, in collaboration to with The Bharat News, presented Dr. Saikia with the 2025 Veer Savarkar National Award in the category of Best Humanitarian and Social Reformer at the Kamani Auditorium in Mandi House,new delhi on Wednesday night.
It is worth noting that Dr. Dibyajyoti Saikia has been playing a significant role in promoting peace in the Northeast and across the country, fighting against superstition and drug abuse through his scientific education, motivation and social work.
Dr. Dibyajyoti Saikia has been honoured with more than 180 national and international awards so far. He has been highly praised by national and international media for his outstanding services, including ETV Bharat making a documentary on Dr. Saikia.
