sacked two officers

Ukraine, Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has fired two officials on charges of collaborating with Russia. The two officials sacked include the head of the Domestic Security Agency, Ivan Bakanov, and the country’s Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova. It is said that this step has been taken after dozens of cases of agencies officials cooperating with Russia. Ukrainian military spokesman Vadium Skbitsky said Russia was now preparing to open a front in new areas. He said that there was heavy shelling from all sides along with missile strikes from sea and sky. Even fighter planes and helicopters were used. He said Russia has also stepped up attacks to capture Sloviansk, largely the last major city in the Donsk province, where there is still some Ukrainian resistance.
