New Delhi: Indian cricket team’s senior off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is in the grip of Corona. Due to this he could not go to England for the fifth test match. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) gave information. A statement issued by him said that Ashwin is currently in quarantine and will join the team only after fulfilling all protocol requirements. Significantly, the rest of the team had left for England on 16 June.
The team has also started practice under the supervision of bowling coach Paras Mahambre and batting coach Vikram Rathod. The Indian team has to play the last match of the five-Test series in England from July 1. After this, the team also has to play T20 and ODI series here.
