Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur: The Indian men’s team defeated Hong Kong 2-0 to reach the final of the Asian Squash Team Championships after nine years. World No. 15 Sourav Ghoshal defeated Yip Tz Fung 10-12, 11-6, 11-6, 15-13 in 55 minutes to take the team to the final.

Earlier, Ramit Tandon got off to a great start with a 4-11, 11-5, 11-8, 11-5 win over Henry Laung in 37 minutes. India will face Malaysia in the final. The third seeded women’s team suffered a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Hong Kong. Joshna Chinappa won but Sunaina Kuruvilla and Urvashi Joshi lost their respective matches.
