3 more people died of corona in Assam

Assam, Guwahati: In the last 24 hours in Assam, 3 more people died due to corona. In such a situation, 6,668 patients have died due to corona in the state so far. These three deaths have been recorded in Kamrup (Rural), Nagaon and Udalguri districts. At the same time, 149 people have come under the grip of Corona in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 7,30,143 people have become victims of infection in the state. Among the districts where new cases have been reported, Kamrup metropolitan district recorded the maximum number of 38, Sivasagar 25, Cachar 23 and Nagaon nine. However, the positivity rate declined marginally to 10.47 per cent as against the previous day’s 10.50 per cent. There are currently 3,691 active cases as against 3,896 the previous day. A total of 7,18,452 patients have been cured of COVID-19 including 351 in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate of Kovid-19 is now 98.40 percent. According to the information given by the Health Department, a total of 28,441,188 samples have been tested so far in the state. A total of 4,71,79,028 doses of vaccines have been administered so far, which include 2,45,90,108 first dose, 2,11,52,063 second dose and 10,36,857 precautionary dose.
