New Delhi: The number of corona infected in the country continues to fluctuate and it is increasing gradually. According to the report of the Union Health Ministry, 18,930 cases have been reported across the country. This number is 2771 more than yesterday. A day earlier, 16,159 cases were reported. At the same time, there has also been a jump in the number of deaths due to corona in the country. 35 people have died in the country due to Corona. Whereas, a day earlier, 28 people were killed by Corona. According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of active patients in the country has now reached 1,19,457.
Till a day earlier, there were 1,15,212 active cases across the country. At the same time, the number of patients recovering within 24 hours is 14,650. On the other hand, Assam has reported 210 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the positivity rate to 10.14 percent. According to the information given by the Health Department, at present there are 810 active cases in the state, while 7,16,683 people have recovered from the disease so far. Kamrup metropolitan district has the maximum number of new cases. 98 cases have been reported in the district.
After this, 26 cases were reported in Kamrup (rural), 19 in Dibrugarh and 14 in Darrang. Significantly, 775 new cases have been registered since June 19. After more than three months, the number of Kovid-19 cases is continuously increasing.
