New Delhi: The festival of Eid-ul-Adha i.e. Bakrid will be celebrated across the country including Delhi on July 10. Dr. Mufti Mukarram Ahmed, Shahi Imam of Fatehpuri Masjid located in Chandni Chowk, said that due to rain and cloudy sky in Delhi and surrounding areas, the moon has not been seen, but many states including Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu The moon of Zul Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic calendar, has been seen in many parts of the world. This three-day long festival is celebrated two months and nine days after Eid-ul-Fitr. Sacrifice is obligatory on the people of the Muslim community who have about 613 grams of silver or have equal money or any other item. It is worth noting that this time the central government has issued new guidelines regarding sacrifice. Under which now sacrifice can be done only in slaughterhouses. Now sacrifice can neither be done in homes nor in open places. The Central Government has said that it has been seen for a long time that animals are stuffed in vehicles. This is kind of cruelty to them, strict action should be taken against the people concerned in such cases.
